Follow the Queen's Royal Diamond Jubilee procession to Westminster and on to Buckingham Palace. Enjoy a complimentary glass of Prosecco and canapés, followed by a delicious 3 course meal from the following menu.

STARTERS

Egg Mayonnaise (V)
Local Staverton Skylark Farm eggs with mayonnaise 
Melon and Parma Ham 
Three slices of melon topped with a slither of Parma ham
Homemade Pâté
A smooth chicken liver pâté served with rustic toast and plum chutney
Buffalo Mozzarella and Tomato Salad (V)
With sun–blushed and sliced tomatoes and a little rocket salad drizzled with pesto
Crispy Fried Whitebait
Spring Tomato and Basil Soup (V)
Served with a swirl of sour cream
Oriental Gressingham Duck Salad
Two duck cakes served with sweet hoi sin sauce and tossed dressed leaves
Fresh Grilled Sardines 
Three grilled sardines served with onion garnish

Baby button mushrooms sautéed in garlic butter

A freshly made fishcake with salmon, haddock and prawns served with a whole grain mustard sauce

Poached Fillet of Salmon
In a prawn dill and mushroom velouté with wilted spinach and new potatoes
Fresh Grilled Lemon Sole 
Served whole with a brown shrimp and herb butter wilted spinach and new potatoes
Baby Chicken Poussin Piri Piri  
Marinated whole Poussin in white wine and garlic, grilled and served spatchcock with hot piri piri sauce and new potatoes 
Cumberland Sausages and Mash  
Three Aubrey Allen best sausages served in a rich onion gravy and creamy mash 
Lamb Kleftico 
Braised Cornish lamb shank in a red wine, thyme and spring vegetable gravy on a bed of mashed potato 
Gressingham Duck Leg 
Slow cooked and served with a bean and chorizo cassoulet and creamy mash 
Topside of Aberdeen Angus Beef 
Slow roasted and served with a mushroom and tarragon sauce and sautéed potatoes 
Homemade Steak and Kidney Pie 
Made with puff pastry and served with new potatoes
Grilled Goat's Cheese (V)
Two thick slices cut from a log of French goat's cheese served on a bed of salad with olive oil and Balsamic vinegar dressing and topped with caramelised red onions

This event is not to be missed! Mike Sanchez is in a league of his own. He is dropping in on The Butchers Arms during his busy European tour to play us his energetic unique rhythm and blues which is definitely worth seeing.

£50 per person to include a three course lunch and a glass of fizz on arrival. Book early to avoid disappointment.
